Brother Jimmy’s BBQ (Madison Square Garden)

Brother Jimmy's BBQ Restaurant
Brother Jimmy’s BBQ, right across from Madison Square Garden on 8th Avenue. They know their barbeque. My coworkers and I headed there on a nice day that was perfect for a bbq lunch.

Brother Jimmy's BBQ Burnt Rib Tips
Burnt Rib Tips. They were mighty tasty as you can see. It was moist with that little bit of fattiness making it extra juicy. It’s probably my favorite dish in most barbecue joints. Their limited availability makes it all that much tastier. More after the jump!

Brother Jimmy's BBQ Ribs selection
The Rib combo filled two of us. We had to share since we knew we’d never finish a full plate individually for a lunch. I’ll have to tackle it for dinner sometime. The ribs were a selection of Northern Style Ribs (left) and Brother Jimmy’s signature Rub style (right). The Northern style was saucy, sweet, and tangy. Brother Jimmy’s Rub is filled with several spices making it dry on the outside but moist on the inside. Both were extremely good but of course I’d recommend the Northern Style, saucy is my flavor.

Brother Jimmy's Sliced Brisket with sides
Perfect Sliced Brisket Sandwich for lunch. It will be sure to fill your stomach and your taste buds. Drizzle some of their bbq sauce or hot sauce and your mouth will thank you.

Brother Jimmy's BBQ Hot Sauce
Notice their own brand of hot sauce. Mildly spicy with a hint of sweetness. Prices weren’t very expensive either, another plus.

Brother Jimmy's BBQ
A bbq joint atmosphere, plenty of seating upstairs. Main level acts as a bar with some seating. Great place to go for a beer and bbq of course.

Brother Jimmy's BBQ Decor
You’ll get a kick from just looking at all the decor and artwork.
Definitely try it out, it could get packed after work but its a great hang out place to have some beer and barbecue at good prices.
