Las Vegas Caesar’s Palace – Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant Sushi Bar & Noodles
After walking around all day towards Caesar’s Palace, which simply amazed us, we were hungry of course. But we had to eat light! How else would we last for more buffets? We didn’t even eat breakfast just to save our appetite.

Caesar's Palace

Caesar's Palace Main Entrance
Just had to show this picture that came out great of the fountain inside the main entrance. Restaurant and more importantly, food after the jump!
While walking around inside Caesar’s Palace, we bumped into a restaurant we could eat lightly near the Forum Shops, named Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant, Sushi Bar & Noodles. We just had to try out a bit of the food so we can guage if it was any good.

Caesar's Palace Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant
The restaurant’s dishes were about $10-15/dish, moderate prices but you’ll have to read on to find out if it was worth it. The decor was very nice and the setting was fantastic with the open walls to look at people passing by staring at our dishes.

We find out that the full menu was a mix of Japanese and Chinese. We thought we might regret it until we ordered a few basic dishes and test it out. Onto the food!

Caesar's Palace Hyakumi Beef Tendon Noodle Soup
The Beef Tendon Noodle Soup is a Cantonese style dish, one of my favorites, a very home styled dish that’s easy to make and tasty. Indeed this bowl of noodle soup was very tasty, just like back home and at any good Cantonese style restaurant. The beef tendon was not overcooked, very tender and soaked up the flavor of the soup. The noodle looked very fresh and tasted so. So was the “choy sum”, the green vegetable, it was also very fresh and not wilted. It passed my taste bud’s test for authentic Chinese food. Just from this, the chef or cook knew what they were making.

Caesar's Palace Hyakumi California Roll
This was really a basic dish we just had to try, California Rolls. Yes, we could have gone with more expensive and tastier rolls but this was the guage by which I judge rolls by. Just look at the picture and you can tell how it tastes. The sushi chefs were good. We had to stop ourselves from ordering other rolls just because we had to save for the buffets!

Caesar's Palace Hyakumi Fried Dumplings
These Fried Dumplings were fantastic. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, it was clearly perfect. Once you bit into it, the flavor just popped.
Three simple dishes and they were great. We did pay for it but it was better than expected.

Caesar's Palace Neptune Fountain (Trevi Fountain)
After walking through the Forum Shops and gawking at all the expensive high end stores inside, we had to go out for some air. We came right out to another beautiful sight, Neptune Fountain (Trevi Fountain). Everyone was taking pictures around of course. Who can pass that up when you’re near something so touristy? Its pretty much an excact replica of the one in Rome. You’ll have to wait for another post of our dining experience for Rome and pictures of the real Trevi Fountain. Of course there are more restaurants we just simply didn’t have a chance to try out. We could only eat so much before we hit another buffet!
