Las Vegas Jean Phillipe Patisserie’s Chocolate Fountain at Bellagio

The world’s largest Chocolate Fountain is at the Bellagio’s Jean Phillipe Patisserie. Who can pass up all that chocolate cascading from one level to another from floor to ceiling. The only downside of looking at this tasty yet magnificent kinetic sculpture is that its enclosed in glass! The award-winning Executive Pastry Chef Jean-Philippe Maury and a team of designers and artists created this spectacular marvel that moves 2 tons of melted dark, white and milk chocolate (excuse my droolng) , pumped at 120 quarters per minute, all for our delight.

After staring at the fountain, a cleaning crew came to clean my drool off the glass and floor then gave me a funny look. More after the jump!

Swiss Chocolate @ Zurich

February 24, 2009 · Posted in Chocolate, Dessert, Snacks · 2 Comments

During a layover for a connecting flight at Zurich in Switzerland, we just had to take a look at the duty free shops. We figured we better look now while our flight was delayed from heavy rain. All we can gawk at was the amount of chocolate available at the shops. We stared and we drooled…

Las Vegas Wynn Buffet

The Wynn was a very impressive hotel. Gorgeous from the outside and even better from the inside. Of course we had to try the buffet there! It just so happened we were at the shopping center across from the Hotel so we hopped in at the Wynn for lunch.

The buffet is a fairly short walk inside the casino. Don’t let the glittery lights and sounds of slot machines distract your stomach.

Kyochon! Korean Fried Chicken (Northern Blvd, Bayside NY)

Kyochon, a fantastic place for Korean Fried Chicken. These fried chicken are not your ordinary KFC, far from it in fact. They are much more tastier and less greasy. Be prepared to wait though while they cook your order, it can easily take 20-30 minutes. On a busy day, you might have to wait a long time for a table. On the other hand, they do deliver! Again, be prepared to wait anywhere from 30-40+ minutes for a delivery. I prefer to order 20 min ahead of time and then pick it up myself since I’m not far from either in Bayside rather than wait for a longer delivery.

Here’s a tease… More after the jump!

Pillsbury Dough Boy Plush

Pillsbury Dough Boy Plush

Pillsbury Dough Boy Plush

The Dough Boy plush came from an offer off Pillsbury products (bought items that were on sale). Collect a few UPC’s and pay for a $3 shipping & handling fee. I’m not sure if the offer is still running, if it was, I’d be interested in getting another one. Dough Boy smells of sweet dough and when you press on his stomach, you hear his signature “Hee Hee”. Its about 6-7 inches in height sitting. The company sure knows how to make a cute Dough Boy.
