After walking though the entire Caesars Palace, Finechinaguy and I were famished! Do you know how big this Hotel/Casino is?  Huge!  They have this huge shopping center called “The Forum Shops” and there are just tons of stores that you can go shop.   Anyways, I was craving for Japanese and decided to check out this restaurant before we went in.   We looked at the menu which is conveniently located outside, see below, and saw how expensive a bowl of noodles are!  Regardless, I was not in the mood to go anywhere else because I was so drained from all the walking so we settled down for this restaurant.

Gyozas - Pan Fried Dumplings

Gyozas - Pan Fried Dumplings

Personally, I was sort of disappointed that the gyozas are fried like this when I first saw it.  Usually they’re lightly pan fried while retaining the soft dough skin.   This seems like the “American” version of the gyoza which I did not like.  When I tried eating it, it is very crunchy on the outside, but the pork inside was very moist and juicy.  If the skin was not fried like this, I would have loved this appetizer.

Price: $12.00

California Rolls

California Rolls

I am such a whore for California Rolls.  I figured that since I’m over in the west coast, the Cali Rolls would be more authentic than the ones I get in New York.  And guess what, unlike California where they make the roll with real crab meat, this one has the imitation kind.  Kind of a let down, but now I know never to get a Cali Roll from this restaurant.  This taste exactly like the kind back home, which wasn’t interesting for me to have.  The worse part about this, and it’s completely my fault, is that it cost $12.00 for 8 pieces! I sincerely thought that it would be very good, but I guess I took my chances and lost!

Price: $12.00

Forgive me for the grainy-ness; I was using my point and shoot camera and there was low lighting at the restaurant.

Egg noodles w/beef tenderloin

Finechinaguy wanted a bowl of noodles that cost $15.00.  For that price, I could get five bowls of noodles in Chinatown.  I tasted this and the soup taste like water plus a sprinkle of soy sauce; but the noodles was alright.  Never will I ever, come back here for a bowl of noodles.  It is ridiculously overpriced and they obviously do so to appeal to the people who has never had Asian cuisine.

Overall I would never come back here again.   The bill came close to about $50 including tip which is way too expensive.
