FCG’s Review of Pepsi Natural Cola
Now Pepsi has launched a new product called Pepsi Natural: All Natural Cola. Finechinaguy had also made a review, which you can read by clicking on the link, and there are just a few points that I personally disagree on.

Pepsi Natural
Notice that it says it’s made with, “Sparkling water, sugar, and kola nut extract.” And literally that is exactly what you will be drinking. Maybe because I personally do not like sparkling water, but this soda tastes like a VERY watered down version of Pepsi. Now, good thing is gives your tongue the impression that is it indeed healthier because a lot of ingredients are stripped from this version of cola which is good.

When you first twist off the bottle cap, you do not hear the loud fizz because it isn’t as nearly carbonated as the regular Pepsi.

Pepsi Natural: Nutrition Info

When you first drink this, I personally think that the seltzer water portion of the soda will hit your tongue first, followed by the sugar and then the hint of kola nut extract, which to me tastes somewhat like vanilla. Unfortunately in my case, I experienced an awful dry feeling after taste in my mouth which was unpleasant. I’m a sugar freak which is why I probably hate this drink, but, if you’re a health nut who wants to cheat by having a soda, this is the soda that you will want to get without feeling too guilty, taste wise anyways. Just be warned not to look at the nutritional info! Can you believe a regular can of Pepsi, 8 fl oz, has about 160 calories and this, 12 fl oz, has 150 calories?? It tastes like there’s 50 calories in it and it’s mind boggling that it has so many calories! But the fact is that it doesn’t taste as sugary!
1. I’m not a fan.
2. I can’t taste any herbal after taste like FC’guy mentioned.
3. Everything is refreshing when chilled
4. This is like the budget version of the regular Pepsi.
5. I would never be in a mood to try it! But that’s personally how I feel!
It is a very expensive drink like ‘Guy mentioned, but you have to try it at least once! Once you have, let me know what you think!
Happy drinking!

haha well thanks for being honest. I also personally don’t like seltzer water, so maybe this wouldn’t be my drink either.
in regards to your other entry, I think beef rice roll and shrimp rice roll are the most comment rice rolls. I think i’ve only tried the spare ribs one several times in a restaurant. But my favorite is the shrimp one. with LOTS of soysauce! ^-^ yay cholesterol! jk jk
wow this is interesting, i haven’t had soda in a long time so i haven’t paid any mind to the new label that pepsi made as well as their “natural” flavor. i used to be a fan of pepsi when i was a kid. it was WAY better than coke. i loved the seltzer. it stung so well in the mouth. The one that i had in the last recent years i can’t say the same, it taste so different. then everything sucked with all that high fructose corn syrup. i’ll give this one a try, i’m curious about it now.
whenever i have a craving for soda, i usually go for anything non-american. I usually like to have Jarritos. and they have it at Calexico cart too, so it’s the perfect combination. you should try Calexico out, they’re amazing.

oh by the way, i really like your site. it’s got good stuff. A lot of the things you listed i was thinking “oh snap!! i had that, or i went there before” (the new york one’s anyway, i don’t get the opportunity to travel much.) i LOVE to eat as well. i think if it wasn’t for the art blog i would’ve done a food one like you too. but your doing it already so i’ll leave it to your hands. hahaha. i keep a scrapbook instead, it’s a bit more hardbody and physical. and it’s even got sentimental value to it now.
but yea! keep up the good work, love to see more : )
