My dear co-worker Tina Y. has been teasing me for days about the best pineapple buns ever, and all located in Elmhurst. She continues to tease me by giving me two teaser buns instead of the best one that she’s been praising about. She bought me this packaged bun from Fully Bakery and tells me that she has been going there for years and have never been disappointed. Plus, that this pineapple bun is sweeter than any that she has tried. I will be the judge of that!
Anyways, I figure that I would do a photo post on it and share my experience with you!

I always love my pictures and I can’t help but to take a zillion of ‘em. I did not take a picture of the inside of the bun because there isn’t anything in it. Yes it’s just bread and nothing else. Some pineapple buns do have a pineapple filling in it, which I really do not like. A real tasty pineapple bun will not have it because then it’ll take away from the crust of the bun! The crust part is the ultimate highlight of the bun which is what I love and what I grew up with! The crust should be sweet and somewhat crusty and soft! This bun is not bad. I think it would taste better if it was fresh out of the oven!
Not bad at all. I can’t wait to visit this bakery and have the other Pineapple bun that she’s teasing me about. Yum.

Have you heard of por lor you(oil)? It’s the HK version of eating it where there’s butter in the middle. It’s supposed to be really tasty.
