Five Hungry Guys hitting up Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries: Queens

Having never heard of Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries until recently (I know, where have I been?! Stuck in the office too long!) and having only eaten In N Out Burger this past summer when I was in California (absolutely delicious by the way), I was all too happy to raid this burger joint. My Australian friend, Gary, wanted to hit a Greasy, fatty, delicious Burger spot before we hit the bar and him leaving the States for his home down under. I was recommended this place.

Giant Burrito & Coaster Ride @ Nascar Cafe (Sahara Hotel Casino, Las Vegas)

March 2, 2009 · Posted in American Food, College Food, Las Vegas · 1 Comment

A 2 feet 6 lb. Burrito nicknamed “The Bomb” (we all know why) has been created at the Nascar Cafe in the Sahara Hotel & Casino, Vegas. If you complete the challenge, you’ll win Free Unlimited Rides on the Sahara’s Speed Rollercoaster! (Be prepared for disasterous outcomes.) There is a downside to losing the challenge too, you’ll have to take with a tiny Pink Tshirt that says “Weenie”.

I love burrito’s and seeing this astounds me. If this was available when I went to Vegas, I would have been all over it but results of eating this monstrosity probably would not be pretty. I would love to see this burrito in person. Read more here.

Hot Pockets!

January 10, 2007 · Posted in College Food, Hot Pockets · 22 Comments

After a conversation with softrice about him having hot pockets for lunch tomorrow to fuel his brain with energy, he replies and asks me what are hot pockets. Well ladies and gentlemen, if you don’t know I’ll be sure to do a review on it. But let me start you off with a list of hot pockets that are out.

Btw, I took this from wikipedia:

List of varieties

Hot Pockets

Hot Pockets Subs

  • Meatballs & Mozzarella
  • Philly Steak and Cheese
  • Ham & Cheese
  • Pepperoni Pizza

Pot Pie Express (Huge Fan of Pot Pies!!)

  • Chicken
  • Chicken & Broccoli
  • Turkey

There’s like a trillion other brands that offer basically the same taste like Lean Pockets and Crossant Pockets.

Anyways, the ones that I bolded are the ones I have tried. As a poor, lazy, college student who’s fortunate enough to have a microwave, I eat this all the time. I definitely recommend all the pot pies because it tastes like Popeyes’s biscuits with meat inside covered in it’s own sauces. Oh baby is it good. I’m sure each of you have your fine moments with the hot pocket. Please, come and share it with me.

These pictures are from the internet. I ate all my pot pies and had already chucked the box in the garbage. Ahh, such happy fond memories.

I would recommend this fine product.

The following are the new deli styles:

Pepperoni Pizza. This is a satisfying treat.

Philly Cheese Steak – Not bad, very cheesy, but it’s not the best.

Sausage and Pepperoni – Very meaty, tastes even better with potato chips.

And here’s one of the blandest, “yuckest” one I have ever tasted:

This is the sausage egg and cheese. So bland. I literally had to sprinkle salt all over this baby to have flavor. And I ate it with chips so it’ll taste better.

So there you have it, now you know what hot pockets are.
